Prabhsimran Singh IPL stats tell the story of one of the most patient breakthroughs in recent league history. Signed as an 18-year-old for Rs 4.8 crore at the 2019 auction, the Patiala wicketkeeper-batter played only six IPL matches across his first four seasons. Then came 2023: a maiden century against Delhi Capitals and a permanent place at the top of the Punjab Kings batting order.
Three seasons on, he has become the most productive uncapped batter the IPL has seen, passing 500 runs in both 2025 (549 runs) and 2026 (510 runs), and finishing IPL 2026 with 1,815 career runs at a strike rate of 156.33. This page tracks his complete IPL record: season-by-season numbers, auction price history, records, and where he stands heading into IPL 2027.

Who Is Prabhsimran Singh?
Prabhsimran Singh is an Indian wicketkeeper-batter from Patiala, Punjab, born on 10 August 2000. He is the cousin of fellow Punjab and IPL cricketer Anmolpreet Singh. His talent was obvious early: he smashed 298 off 301 balls in a Punjab under-23 inter-district semi-final and scored 547 runs with three centuries in the 2017-18 Cooch Behar Trophy. He made his first-class debut for Punjab in February 2022 with a century, and has since become a fixture for Punjab, India A and North Zone across formats. His official IPL profile is maintained on his official IPL profile page.
In the IPL he has been a one-franchise man, turning out for Punjab since 2019. Over the years he has shared the Punjab Kings dressing room with Arshdeep Singh, Shikhar Dhawan, Marcus Stoinis, Nehal Wadhera and fellow wicketkeeper Jitesh Sharma.

Prabhsimran Singh’s IPL Performance Analysis
The numbers trace a clear arc. From 2019 to 2022, Prabhsimran played six matches and made 64 runs; from 2023 to 2026, he played 59 matches and made 1,751. His strike rate has climbed every full season since his breakthrough, from 150.42 in 2023 to 168.87 in 2026, while his average jumped from 25.57 to 42.50 over the same span. The 2024 dip in average (23.86) looks in hindsight like the cost of learning to bat long at the top of the order; 2025 and 2026 show the payoff.
His game is built for the powerplay: he scores heavily in front of square, takes on pace early, and has remained not out only once in 64 IPL innings, which is the profile of an opener who plays high-risk cricket rather than a flaw in his method. Six fifties in 14 games in 2026 show he is converting starts far better than the player who managed two fifties in 2024. With two 500-run seasons behind him, he heads into the 2027 cycle as the most settled Indian opener Punjab Kings have had in years.
